Frequently asked questions
How do I book a class?
You can book online on this website here. Or you can get in touch with me directly.
Before starting a class you will need to complete a health questionnaire so that I am aware of any reasons that I need to modify exercise instructions for you. This form is known as a PAR Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire). A blank form will be attached to your booking confirmation. The form can also be downloaded from my website.
What levels of class do you offer?
I offer a range of classes that cater for everyone from complete Pilates beginners to people that have been doing Pilates for a long time.
What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothes. Your clothes should not be too baggy, because I need to be able see your body shape to be able to advise you on the correct techniques.
What should I bring?
Please bring your own mat and a bottle of water if needed.
I will provide extra equipment like resistance balls and bands, but if you would like to use your own equipment you are very welcome to.
If you aren’t sure what you need, please drop me a line. I can also help you get hold of any extra equipment that you might like to purchase.
Can I do Pilates after injuries or if I’m pregnant?
Yes, you can take part in Pilates sessions as long as your Doctor or Physiotherapist has said that it is OK.
What are you doing about Covid-19?
I am following local and national guidelines. I am a member of CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) and follow the guidance they provide.
If you feel unwell or have Covid-19 symptoms, please let me know.
